Packaging should be strong, made from cardboard or good quality paper. It should has thin (but not fat!) cellophane skintight box without wrinkles, it does not exceed the size of the box, glue is not visible. However, some producers do not use cellophane, with an emphasis on the original packaging and bottles, an effort to combat counterfeiting. By the way, beautiful expensive bottles are not just a way of expression and draw attention of customers, but also a guarantee of authenticity, the process of making a copy of such bottles is too complicated.

Inscriptions
Carefully check the inscriptions – names and details about the producer. Many producers of fakes often add extra letters in the name or change the position. For example, you can find Clema instead of Climat, Cool Winter instead of Cool Water, Genzo instead of Kenzo. The original bottle of perfume always contains the information about the country of production, date of manufacture, expiration date, and the composition of the product.

Barcode
French perfumes barcode begins with a figure 3, Great Britain – 50, Germany – 400-440, Spain – 84, Italy – 80-83, France 30-37, United States and Canada – 00-09. At the bottom of the code you can see a serial number – the code of letters and numbers, which must necessarily coincide with the code on the bottle.

Bottle
The original glass bottle is clean and transparent; there should be no roughness, cloudiness and air balls. This perfume must not have any metal lids such contact ruins the scent. Check resistance
The original perfume usually has long-lasting scent depending on the type and concentration of aromatic components.

It contains 30-40 percent of the aromatic oils and therefore have the most powerful and concentrated scent, and because of the high concentration its enough to use just one or two drops. In the daytime enjoy perfume water (eau de parfum). It has almost the same scent as the perfume, but less concentrated. The concentration of essential oils in the toilet water is much less – 8-14%. The aroma stays on your skin for about 4-5 hours.
The most light and less lasting is toilet water (eau de toilette). The content of essential oils in it – 3-8%, you have to use it every two to three hours. But it is ideal for summer time, office and other situations where a strong fragrance is not appropriate.
